Property portal Housing.com has partnered with ICICI Property Services to organise virtual exhibitions this year.
“Housing.com has entered in an exclusive one year partnership with ICICI Property Services, a division of ICICI Home Finance Company.
“Under the partnership, the company will organise a virtual exhibitions during the year which will see participation from various leading developers across India,” a statement issued here today said.
The virtual exhibitions will not only provide customers access to information on various properties but also empower them to engage directly with their preferred developers at the click of a button, it added.
As a first initiative, Housing.com will launch a 21 day virtual exhibition for the developers in Pune starting tomorrow.
“The 21 day virtual exhibit of properties is a pilot project that will showcase over 12 projects by five leading realtors in Pune and will have exciting offers such as 1 per cent cash back, all inclusive rates,” it said.
The exhibition will witness participation from developers such as Paranjpe Schemes Company Limited, Nyati Group, Naiknavare Developers, Kasturi Developers and Mont Vert Group.
“Our partnership with ICICI Property Services will give consumers and developers an opportunity for making the process of buy and sell transparent and convenient given that around 51 per cent of real estate transactions in India are influenced by Internet today,” said Jason Kothari, Chief Executive Officer, Housing.com.
“We aim to create thoughtful innovations that drive convenience for customers. In line with this vision, we are partnering with Housing.com to facilitate online purchase of homes by customers.
“We believe that the online home buying space is poised for tremendous growth in the coming years. It will enable homebuyers to choose from a wide array of projects online at their convenience,” said Rajiv Sabharwal, Executive Director, ICICI Bank.
Last year, Housing.com entered into an exclusive partnership with MCHI-CREDAI for a virtual exhibition. The online expo showcased 400 projects across India by over 150 developers.
The online exhibition witnessed an overwhelming response with registration from 60,000 home buyers and houses worth Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of Rs 250 crore were sold during Diwali.
